Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani was born in Yamen on 19 April 1957 is an Indian business Tycoon. He is the chairman, managing director and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). The RIL is the India’s most valuable company and also rated in the Fortune Global 500 company list.
Mukesh Ambani holds 44.7% stake in the company. His companies includes Reliance Industries, Reliance Petroleum (RPL), IPCL and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd (RIIL). In education, he had a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT). These days it is known as the University of Mumbai, Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT). The name of his better half is Nita Ambani. He has two sons and one daughter Akash, Anant and Isha.
The company of Mr. Ambani’s RIL was set up by his father, Dhirubhai, in the year of 1957. RIL skipped from textiles into oil refining and petrochemicals. Reliance refinery which is located in Gujarat is one of the largest refineries in the world. It opened in 2000, two years before Dhirubhai died.
